how can i fix my car,nissan micra?

The Speedo' fuel gauge and water reader stopped working in my nissan micra T reg 99 can anyone tell me how to fix this problem ?

The interior light also stopped working yesterday it's also had a new bulb in it 2 days ago could it be a fuse problem ?

It stopped working on the motorway last night and scared the life out of me any help would be very much appriceated

sidelights right /left main dipped beam all seperate 10amp mini fuses located under passenger headlight take passenger side grill off small plastic clips prise off with plane driver 3 ten ml bolts hold on light u can use tape place at wing edge were bumper meets prise dowh
n enough yo let light slide out two of bolts easy one at inner wing awkward 10mm ring spanner disconnect bulb spring clip white fusebox two plastic clips on each side prise clips to loosen the top half lifts up tight with wiring u will need long nose pliers to remove replace fuse diagram of fuse location is there ts awkward but can be done stupidest place ive seen or likely to c a fusebox idiotic morons nissan hope this helps

fuse box for side lights is located in the daftest place nissan could put it under the passenger side headlight in the engine compartment ,real smart , to get to it u have to strip wing and remove headlight fuses on lid of box . real crap idea nissan .

it could be that the reverse light switch, located on the gearbox itself has worn out the connectors, or there could be dirt / debris in there preventing it from making contact.

or it could be the terminals at the cluster connector have corroded (unlikely but not impossible), this can be checked with a multi meter for -/+ conections

the problem could be that the reversing switch on the gearbox needs replacing and that is the fault rather than a fuse, a blown fuse would probably result in some other lights not working.

Hello there are a couple of fuse boxes within the engine bay(one on the left hand side black/one on the right near the front) check they havnt blown. in them plus the internal fuse box is usually on the right of the drivers side pull the plastic to reveal the fuses.
