Viewed from the front of the appliance:
mains block:
1. Line in (brown) to White with brown rings.
2. Neutral (blue) to two blue cables.
3. Not used.
4. Black wire to White with black rings. ------

Element: left to right -
1. Two black cables (one goes to heat selector switch).
2. Red cable (goes to heat selector switch).
3. & 4. Bridged together to blue cable
