dryer running but cloths wan'tdry?

dryer lights onand its running but at end of cycle cloths are not dried.why?

Is the drum rotating ? If so after 5 mins of working open the door and feel if there is heat within the drum. If not sounds like the heater element has gone or the thermostat .

Probably the belt has broken, so the drum is not turning.
