OK....assuming it is similar to the M3111b that I have just done...
Remove rear cover and top after disconnecting services,
remove drive belt
disconnect wires from rear of drum housing
remove clamp bolt from clamp running around housing which secures the back. Remove the clamp ring altogether, with rubber seal.
Remove the drum through the back of the machine, being careful not to damage the heater at the bottom. Its a bit tight, but will come out this way.
With the drum on its side on some old carpet or thick cardboard, slacken off the nyloc nut securing the pulley, then thump it with a copper mallet (might take some time - its a tight fit). Slacken the nut a little more and continue until the drum and spindle come away from the bearing assembly.
Prise out the rubber seal, then with a 1/2" drift, knock the bearings out. Clean everything up and then reassemble with the new bearings. Note that it is almost impossible to refit the clamp ring and rubber seal with the original length of clamp bolt! Best way is to glue the rubber into the clamp ring, then use a length of M8 studding and two nuts to pull the clamp tight and secure the back. Reconnect wires etc........there you go!
