Possible cure not disconnect. I have a laguna 2 on a 51 plate which always made the dash board light up like a christmas tree, with false reports of tyre problems especialy after it had rained.
After carrying out a break service i noticed a small plastic box in the n/s/r (passenger side rear)wheel arch just to the left of the shocker leg (As you look in, with wheel removed). After closer inspection of this black box i realised that it was caked with mud thrown from the wheel. Whilst removing the cover which was secured by a recessed 10mm nut in the center which was also hidden by wet mud, it revealed two so called water proof electrical connectors which again needed cleaning off. putting 2 & 2 together i figured this may well be part of our beloved tyre pressure circuit.
After disconnecting and thouroughly drying the two connectors, i reconnected them and got a big hand full of everyday grease and plastered it all over the connections and in the back side of the box before recovering. replaced the cover and nut and again filled the top and bottom entry holes with more grease. Replace the wheel and take the old french beast for a spin. It may take the computer a few miles to take a new reading before you get the resault. One thing is for sure since sorting this out 5 months ago the only time my dash board has annoyed me is when i have had a genuine tyre issue. I have had no problems or side effects after this but obviously cant guarantee anything.
The job will take you 30 mins and all you need is lots of grease and a 10mm socket. be good to hear if anyone else has a good resault from this. Good luck maffa101
