Mend Petrol Mower Cut

how does the petrol system in a rotary mower works?

how can i repair the fuel system on my rotary mower if i prime it it will run for a few seconds and then cut out .

It sounds like the gaskets could need replacing where it bolts onto the engine, you should find there are three between the fuel system and the engine, any of these leaking will cause engine from pulling the fuel from the tank, also check the pipes extend into the fuel.
