How can I get my McCulloch MT302x grass trimmer to start. I have changed?

I forgot a step

Step 1a: pull accelerator on. It has a clip on it with 2 positions
pull it on to second clip so it stays on.

this stays in this position now untill all of the steps have been completed

to stop Strimmer move RUN back to OFF

I think it is the same strimmer as mine. follow the steps below.
1, move switch on handle to RUN.
2, press fuel feed a few times(see through bubble)
3, move three way switch to choke
4, pull start cord once
5, move three way switch to middle
6, pull start cord. Strimmer should start. If not go to step 3
7, Once started wait 10 seconds then move three way switch to its 3rd position.

After the winter I find I always forget step 1
