Mend Diplomat Adp 8132 Help

I have a diplomat dishwasher ADP 8132 and need help?

My problem does not seem to have a an "E" code that is applicable. The basic problem is that the door will not close and I cannot change the washing programme. When I switch the machine on the light flashes next to the big saucepan and I hear two beeps and tha is it. I telephoned and was told to reset the machine but this has not worked. How do you reset the machine?
