I have also the same problem and elsewhere on this site someone had to actually break the lock to get the door open. Then with the door open, you can then replace the faulty lock. It would appear that some bozo of a french engineer forgot a basic engineering concept ... mechanical backup.

it will be either the latch jamed or the handle broken on the inside you will have to remove the door trim from inside(pain in ars*) and pull the linkage to open the door:)
