Triton Opal 9.5kw going hot and cold?

My Triton Opal 9.5 shower is running hot and cold, and increasingly more cold than hot. Do I need to change the thermostat and can this be done by a competant DIYer or will I require a plumber?

had the same problem with triton t80i. replaced the thermostat assy 5mins job. You can purchase the stat as an individual item making it a 2 min job. Any competent DIYer should manage it saving you a few pounds
