I cannot get the cover off my weed wacker a mulculloch 2816 to replace the?

This happened to me on my 2816, I sprayed the cr*p out of mine with WD40 and tapped it a few times with the Trusty hammer. Also you might try to pry it off Providing that you have the big nut removed.

I am assuming that you have replaced the string before.

WD40 a hammer and Duct Tape work wonders lol.
