Mend McCulloch 2816 Cover Replace Remove Bottom

I cannot get the cover off my weed wacker a mulculloch 2816 to replace the?

I need to replace the line in my weed wacker but cannot remove the cove on the bottom?

McCulloch McCulloch 2816 Garden Tools, Grass Trimmers Cover Replace Remove Bottom

This happened to me on my 2816, I sprayed the cr*p out of mine with WD40 and tapped it a few times with the Trusty hammer. Also you might try to pry it off Providing that you have the big nut removed.

I am assuming that you have replaced the string before.

WD40 a hammer and Duct Tape work wonders lol.
