can i fix the handle on my washing machine door?

I have had the handle break twice on my Servis tumble dryer and now the handle has broken off my Servis 1200 rainwave washing machine. It is a useless design - a plastic handle with a spring that is far too strong for it. In between buying new handles I use a screwdriver to lever the door open !! The last replacement 'Door Handle & Catch Kit' [to fit Philips Servis order code DOR 4584] cost about £8 from a very useful spares stall on Norwich market. I would not buy Servis again.

it can, with a door handle kit costing from £20-£30. try going to www.spares2go.co.uk they seem to be really helpful. this seems a common problem with servis appliances. i have the same problem and am going to contact servis to tell them i wont be buying from them again, i suggest you do the same.
