I have a Potterton 50e which does not run for very long hence no heating and no hot water. If i turn up the room stat the boiler does not kick in and when it does kick in it only runs for about five mins then shuts down again.
Can any one help.
Does the boiler make a kettling sound or knocking noises? Is the boiler itself very hot and no heat anywhere else? If yes, it could be the pump has seized. The heat isn't being moved away from the boiler so it will run for a short time and shut down again.
