Mend Ford 6006E Stereo Audio

Removing Ford 6006E stereo?

I bought some removal pins for the above stereo from a 52 plate Modeo and though I hear and feel the "click", they just come straight back out again when I pull gently on them and the stereo doesn't budge. Am I missing something, is there a knack? Thanks.

You need to push the Din tools outwards as you pull so they apply pressure to the clip.
