Mend Peugeot 406 Water Engine Steam

how can I cure a "sticky" water thermometer on a peugot 406?

the engine bay was steam cleaned recently and ever since the temperature gauge on the dashboard has been eratic - sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. How can I fix it?

unless theres a very good reason for steamin dont , modurn electrics and warter dont go well , but it sonnds like uve ether got a damp conecter or its a bit coroded, unfotunatly i dont know were it wud be on ur car u need a mecanic to point it out for u. good luk
