hot astra?

my temp gauge on my 1.4 ls astra goes up to 100 before the fan kicks in, i have fitted a new sender unit, the fan works, any ideas,

this cud be triky , think theres a posibility yhe dash gage culd be wrong ,sudgest a mechanic test the actual water temp. is the rad blocked internally or is there muck lodged in the fins of the rad. good luk
