I have changed the brake master cylinder on my Ford Galaxy (1996) there is excessive brake pedal travel and no air in the brake system, any suggestions would be great.
I'm stumped too! Will look at the web site you suggested cheers. I am able to get a hard brake pedal pumping it up without the engine running as soon as the engine is running the pedal goes soft!

Hi,
If as you say the master cylinder and slaves are good, and the system bled, then the usual suspect is brake shoes (Linings) adjustment. Remember a very small amount of movement between lining and drum translates into a large movement at the pedal.
