strip top of fan to release old bearing, write
down number stamped on bearing and purchase
new one. re-fit and hey presto, no need for
large fix and call out fee.
make sure bearing is high temp type.

you can't 1- you have to change the complete fan
2- your not corgi reg-fan is in flue chamber and flue chamber comes under gas regs.
