cd will not eject?

I have the same thing happening. The CD player does not eject or does not recognise a new cd is inserted. If the car sits overnight with the power off the CD player fnctions properly for one try. Insert a disc that you want to hear all day since it is the only one you can play until the next day.
If you are very careful, you can press Eject and grab the disc edge with a pair of tweezers. Only pull the disc on eject. If you are not fast enough, the automatic reload engages and sucks the disc back into the player.
