[02 TRANSIT] HAZARD LIGHTS DON'T WORK UNLESS I PUT INDICATORS ON FIRST?

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME I HAVE AN 02 TRANSIT WITH A PROBLEM WITH THE HAZARD LIGHTS THEY DON'T WORK UNLESS I PUT THE INDICATOR ON FIRST. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY AND HOW TO FIX IT. MANY THANKS ANN

now neither indicators or hazzards will flash? .checked bulbs bullbs are fine? . used to blow fuse .changed fuses .bought different fuse .seemed ok for a while.now wont flash at all?.

Good chance Its a dirty hazzard light switch, best change it
