Mend Dyson DC05 Vacuum Cleaner Repair

How do I remove the wheel from my Dyson DC05 cleaner?

I am having problems with the switch and to gain access to it I think I need to take the wheel off. It is not obvious how the wheels are attached.

With a large Flat bladed screw driver (And I mean Large) stick this between the wheel and the housing, position the flat tip on axel between the wheel and housing and twist and the wheel should just pop off, and hey presto you have access to the star driver screws.
