Ravenheat RSF 820/20T boiler keeps cutting out with hot water?
Hi, I hav a Ravenheat RSF 820/20T boiler. Every time I turn on the hot tap it takes about 30 secs for the boiler to light. After approx 30 secs it goes out, but the pilot is still on. The 30 secs later it comes on again and keeps repeating this sequence. Any ideas? Thanks!
I had a similaer problem, so called out an engineer, who fiddled about for 1hr 30 mins before finding the problem. (he was charging by the hour). He fitted an igniter pump & a PCB, to the tune of 372quid!! Occasionally, it still cuts out after about 30 seconds & the service light comes on, so I have to press the reset button.

Was told it was the sensor and that was changed costing me over £100. The problem still occurs and now they think it is the PCB which is something to do with the circuit board. Still awaiting contact as to what the cost will be.

Found the answer myself by getting a heating engineer in! It's the 3 way valve which has gone!
