How can i fix my Hotpoint Aquarius DF62P dishwasher?

same problem for me, how does one get inn to it though, i cant seem to find an easy access?

I have a DF61p which I assume is similar.
Symptoms were not washing at top of machine, and water knock repeatedly on starting up. In order to get it to work normally I poured several pints of water into the machine, and it worked OK.
On further investigation and removing the side panel I found that the water inlet system (It looks like plastic intestines) was blocked with grease and gunge, and was causing a microswitch to switch prematurely in bursts preventing enough water entering the machine.
