Mend Renault Megane 1.6RT Stalling Idle Engine

renault megane 1.6rt R reg wont tick over?

can anyone help my R reg megane will start, but it does not sound good at all it will not tick over it is on the verge off stalling, and when you rev it it sounds very rough.
yesterday it started fine and run fine, then i turned engine off to restart it and the problem came back.
