Dyson DC04 switch?

The Dyson switchis now a one pole switch, having 2 spades.

The old switch had 4 spades, numbered 1-4. What is the correct wiring order and does it make any difference which is attached to which?

I have just changed the switch on my Dyson DC04 and the two BLUE wire join together with spades and the BROWN wires connect to the switch.
