I have a standard interior door, pine probably, and the handle has failed whilst it is shut meaning it won't open from the outside. Is there any quick way I can gain access and what is the most likely fix? cheers
Take off the handle, remove the connecting rod, the square thingy, then shove a wide screwdriver into the hole and turn. This should open the door. Replace the lock.
