How can I fix my panasonic CT-32HX42 tv?

The problem with my tv is that it will not turn on. the power button on the tv will not turn on the tv nor will the remote. it is like it is not getting any power from the electrical receptical, yet the electrical recepticle is in good working order and will power the satallite box. is there a fuse that can blow or a problem with the power supply in the tv and is it easily fixed? the tv is only 4 years old.

You know what, I think Rod is right. I hauled that monstor down to a repair man a couple cities away and now i remember he replaced a fuse next to the power cord. My TV just did the same thing again yesterday and it was all dejevu until I remembered it did happen before and that was it. A simple fuse.
Why did they make them so that they have such a sensitive fuse. Why not have a reset like many others?

Did either of you two figure out the problem. Just two days ago, my same model TV worked in the morning and then wouldn't turn on in the afternoon. Any suggestions?

Did you resolve the power on issue? The reason I ask is I'm having the same problem with my CT-36HL42 as of 8/14/07. The TV was woking fine the night before when I turned it off and the next morning will not power on.

Strange, I just had the same problem occur today on my CT-32HX42. I read in another site that unplugging the set for more than 4 hours MIGHT reset the TV and allow it to turn on. Another site said there is a fuse inside, next to the power cord that can be replaced for $3, but it requires opening the back, which might be dangerous.
