vectra 1.8 turns over, starts for 1 to 2 seconds then cuts out?
drove this car to local shop no prblems , came back out started the car then cut out ; it refused to start again! somtimes get a glimmer of hope then cuts out again after about 1 to 2 seconds of running! please help before i get a big stick and beat this car. with thanks ian
If it is starting and running even just for a few seconds, it is NOT the starter motor. Get the fuel filter or the fuel injectors checked, you may just find they are blocked. A common problem with the vectras.

If the starter motor continues to turn, its the starter. If you want to fix it yourself go to star-alt.com they are great with their instructions and exploded views. If i can do it you can to
