Can't seem to fix- The machine is sewing backwards?

It is a Singer 1500 model w/gameboy. I recently was able to adjust the timing via the internet but because the person was already not to familiar with this particular machine was unable to assist any further. IT started sewing backwards after that adjustment. I am having a hard time finding people who are familiar with this machine. I know I can fix this if I can find someone to tell me what to do. This machine has never had any problems- it's actually an awesome machine.
