Mend Renault Laguna Fault Batteries

Renault Laguna.V Reg?

Intermitent fault with car alarm, does not always work with the key fob. Have changed batteries in both fobs and is still the same.Renault says the unit is totaly duf but it works most days.

we had this problem with our fobs.. turns out renault dont know their ar*e from their elbow.. ours had problems if sombody locked/unlocked a laguna nearby.. only way to fix was to spend £60 at the dealers for them to plug the car into a computer and have the codes reset.. it works now but we were advised it wasnt fixed, only fixed for now.. renault are pants
