how can I fix my riding lawn mower?

I have a murray lawn mower that has a new battery but every time I use it I have to jump it off. What is the problem??

If it runs ok while your using it then you may have something draining your battery while it is setting between uses,could be a bad key switch or starter selinoid-also if your model has automatic lights on it unplug them
