Thanks Phill, how do i apply these codes! Sometimes i get 1&2 flashing, and sometimes i get 1&4 flashing. Sorry for being abit of a dumby, but i`m new to this (first ever machine and all that), and the machine is just 10 days out of the first years warranty, and i`m trying to get around paying Hotpoint any more of my money, as it seem`s that`s all their interested in!
f12 lights 1&2, communication error
f09 lights 1&4 eprom/setup error
this sounds like a main circuit board fault to me the eeprom runs the program,it is £90 to call out an engineer from hotpoint but you have a 2 year parts warranty so the parts will be free
bearing in mind the main board is about 140.00 +vat its worth calling them out
