May not work for everybody, but try flipping the key 180 degrees and popping back into ignition. I have immobiliser problem only when the key is facing a certain way (fob buttons facing away from me). Starts every time. Frankly I was shocked when I worked it out...soooo simple.

i have a ford mondeo l reg my car wont turn over as the immobilizer has kicked it and when i connect the wire back up the alarm goes off ;when i disconnect the wire there is a clicking noise and car wont turn over how can i fix this once and for all
