Mend Replacing Washing Machine Apart

Follow up to shock absorbers?

Along with the first question I asked about replacing the shock absorbers, I am wondering if I do this myself, if I need to take the washing machine apart to get inside to do this work. There is a pannel on the bottom, but it look pretty hard to get to where the top of where the shock absorber connects to the drum. If someone could let me know I would be very thankful.

You will have to take some pannels off,the top of the washer will probably be held by screws at the back near the top and maybe one each side at the front, the top/lid has to be slid forward and lifted up to remove it,or you may manage by removing only the back panel, even when you see the bolts it will be a bit tight to get to them,a socket set is useful.
