How can I get it to discontinue speaking spanish and "blind" assistance?

We have an Admiral MTS Stereo tv. Out of no where, it will start speaking in spanish. We have checked the setting on the menu and it says English. Also, it will all of a sudden start telling you what's going on as if you cannot see (i.e. the boy walks across the room and picks up a book...). What can we do to turn it back to a regular tv for us?
