How can I fix my wooden laminate office desk drawers?
I have a nice wooden office equipment style desk but the doors won't stay closed. They slowly roll out after I close them. There are several drawers on each side and the desk is well made so I don't understand why they won't close. There are small and medium ones and a large file drawer on the right side.
I would say that it is definitely a desk leveling problem. If level, the drawers shouldn't move on their own, but given the unevenness of some flooring, it still might happen. In which case, you'll need to adjust the feet on the drawer side slightly higher than the rear feet. 1/8th to 3/16" should be plenty high.

If the desk is properly levelled and the drawers keep rolling out, you will want to re-level the desk so it is tilting back slighly (3-5 degrees). This will stop the drawers from opening on their own. Some of today's high end desks and filing cabinets build this angle into the drawer glide, but it is not a common option.

First, make sure the desk is level (back to front and left to right) if that don't help; place the heaviest files to the rear of the drawers. that's the only thing i know to do.
