I found this with my green compact drier however, the reset button had a red plastic shroud which prevented it from being pushed in to reinitiate a reset, by really pushing it so that it "clicked" I had heat return.
My WK also isn't the rear tubed type and by vacuuming out all the side and front vents, the machine was like new...

My White Knight Tumble has stopped heating too!
Check heater elements! Both of mine are open-circuit .. pointing to a new element required
Check if 240V is at the element - BE CAREFUL!

Check the air flow from the vent tube and make sure that the filters are clean, if everything is OK,then the dryer will need a new thermostat fitting. (this is mounted inside the rear panel next to the reset cut-out).
