Where can I find a video head for my Panasonic NV 730?

Whenever I turned on my Panasonic NV-730 it would go off on its own. The store said it needs a new video head part, which is not available locally. Where can I find this part?

NV730 is pretty ancient, if it's the model I'm thinking of!

It's early 1980's vintage?! and used rubber drive belts. If that's the case, then it's more likely to be that a belts come off or the reel idler is worn out. (There are belts top and bottom in the NV-730).

Sounds more likely needs a belt kit.
Disconnect the power, unscrew the bottom plate and check that the drive belts are intact. You might check for belts on the top of mechanism too, around the reel tables.

Other than that, it seems unlikely to be the video heads anyway. Although, the store maybe referring to the lower cylinder which the heads spin on. If that doesn't spin the video would also automatically shut down.
