were is the plug for topping up a 1997 1litre 5 speed nissan micra gearbox?

is their a plug to top up a 1997 1 litre 5 speed nissan micra gearbox. someone told me that you disconnect the speedo cable and fill through this hole, is this correct?

it is actually the plug where speedo cable is connected to the gear box. open the ten mm. screw and gently pull the whole thing out by moving it left right u know wat i mean. if u are not careful u can easily mess the speedo. this is for manual gear box. i have it yesterday.
but i need to know how much oil do i put in? i have put 2 liters!!!!!!

yes you have to unscrew speedo cable to ad oil
