Yes you can.I had this problem and the reply in the maual did not make sense. So my renault dealership found the answer for me.
1. Switch off the engine as normal.
2. Remove the key from the slot approximately 50% so the key is half in and half out of its slot.
3. press the engine start/stop button 7 times.
Remove the key and open the door to get out of the vehicle. Close the doors and press the lock/deadlock buttons onthe keyfob.
4. Walk away as normal. This allows you to leave the windows slightly open as well as it disables the interior sensors.
Note - you must press the engine start stop switch seven times, and ensure it is removed by 50% as the vehicle will start if the key is fully in its slot.

Try it by staying in the car and opening and closing the doors, then once set try moving around in the vehicle to test it is working.
