Mend Renault Clio Grande Diesel Stopped

Renault Clio key reprogram?

I have a 2001 Clio Grande Diesel The key stopped opening the central locking so I replaced the battery but it still doesn't work. The spare key works fine and if I open the car with it the other key starts the car ok.
Does it need reprogrammed for the central locking?
If so, how do I do that?

Hey, I too have the same problem and Renault have said they will charge approx £100 for it to be reprogrammed if that is what needs to be done... This can't be the right amount? Please help me! - again, my spare key works fine. Thank you,
