abs fault?

my abs light stays on when i start my car what can be wrong

check the drive shafts.on the end of the drive shafts on the front of ya car,the end closest to the wheels theres a ring gear type of thing that the abs sensors sit on.check that these rings are not damaged,they may be split,heavely corroded or even covered in gease if the cv boots have gone & thrown all the grease all over.
