The power switch on my washing machine does not engage the power. This is a fault with the white plastic switch in front of the electrical switch, and I guess, a missing spring.
How do I remove the front panel? There is a screw behind the detergent drawer and a tab at each side. Where are the remaining tabs? I presume they're inside, but I cannot find them.
No, it's definitely the power switch. From inside, I've re-wired the power to one of the other switches as a temporary patch and the machine works fine. I just need to get in behind the fascia to repair the switch mechanism.
Any ideas how to get the fascia off?

sounds more like your door switch has gone faulty or the fuse blown
