How do I may the Sony DVP NS530 region free? I've just bought some DVDs that are region 1 and NTSC.

Have just been told the DVD player is already region fee. The Region 4 sticker is just something they add depending on which country they ship the player to.

Just tested my Region 1, NTSC DVDs and they all work!!
