How can I fix my 13" orion TV?

cut about 10cm of cable off and reattach the plug further down. chances are the cable has broken internally. I assume the part near the set has not been stressed or strecthed - in which case the whole lead must be changed and internal connections checked to make sure nothing has been pulled out. take it to a tech if unsure, this is critical for safety.
