how do i replace the hose on a kenmore 116.2411290?

You will need 2 flat blade scew drivers, time, and patience. At the handle end of the hose, where the end cuff meets the handle itself, there are two parts of the handle that are securing the cuff. You will need to get a screw driver in between each of these points at the same time and pull to release the cuff from the handle. Same goes for the canister end. If you manage to get the cuffs off, you will then proceed to twist the new hose onto each end and simply match the wire colors and connect them. The cuffs then snap back onto the ends.
