Can vacuums blow a fuse?

I was vacuuming and went into my bathroom and turned on the light, I got a big electric shock and my vacuum cut out. It hasn't worked since. Can vacuums blow a fuse, if so how do you ifx it? It's a Kenmore blue. Thanks for your help.

Any electrical item can blow a fuse, it is located in the plug, unscrew the cap and replace (a 3 amp fuse i think)

If it doesnt unscrew the fuse will be in a fold out holder
