Had the same fault on omega 2.5 it even went off when car was on the move turned out to be a faulty alternator overcharging the battery try taking reading from battery terminals when engine is idling.

I have a 3L V6 and that is doing the same thing. Do you know where the small black box is? Have you managed to fix yours?

there should be a small black box under the bonnet and you can adjust the sensativity if that dont work when you lock it dont use the dead locks
