How can I fix my Acoustic Solutions CD755T Midi System?

Ive bought this new system but it has no warranty and the CD deck won't go into the housing, it stops about an inch from the back. Iv had a look about in the back bt I cant really seem to see anything that would cause an obstruction. I also have found a spare bit of plastic floating about not attached to anything and from what I can see with no place to go. How can I fix this?

now you know why they sold it to you with no warranty!
if it is 'new', take it to a tech as it may be worth repairing if the rest of the functions are ok. this sort of problem is impossible to solve with internet guesswork.
