HOW DO I FIT A GIANNELLI SPORTS EXHAUST TO MY PEUGEOT SPEEDFIGHTER 2?
I WANT TO FIT A GIANNELLI SPORTS EXHAUST TO MY SPEEDFIGHTER 2 SILVER SPORT 2004, BUT THE STANDARD EXHAUST HAS A PIPE ATTACHED THAT CONNECTS TO THE ENGINE,THE SPORTS EXHAUST HAS NOT GOT A FITTING FOR THIS PIPE, WHEN I FIT THE SPORTS EXHAUST AND EITHER LEAVE THE PIPE UNATTACHED OR BLOCK THE END THE BIKE STARTS OK BUT SOON CUTS OUT AT FULL SPEED
its not the pipe being detached that is making it cut out its the fact that the new exhaust is free flowing and needs more fuel to compensate for it the pipe you are talking about should go to a pump that is bolted on next to the barrel and just recycles the air in the exhaust its a losd of cr*p,just block it off and get a bigger main jet for your carb it will stop bogging down at high speed then ,ok
